The Story Behind This Challenge

I was exactly where you’re at.

Hey, I'm Brandon Trentalange.
And a few years ago, I was exactly where you're at, a service provider who loved his work but was exhausted from keeping up with the constant demands of clients.

At the time, I was flying drones to collect data on construction sites, golf courses, agriculture, solar panels, pipelines, utilities... if you could fly over it, there's a good chance I did.

Every day, I'd be out there in the heat, flying expensive drones over expensive resources, but no
matter how much I worked, I could only take on so many projects in a day.

When the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) introduced a new law requiring anyone flying
drones commercially to pass an in-person drone license exam, I saw an opportunity.

I went in to take the exam... and just barely passed. I thought to myself, "I'm a professional drone pilot - there's no way someone who just wants to start a side hustle is ever going to pass this thing"
